NICOLE joined SOS in 2016 as a transport volunteer. Her first-ever transport was picking up Fred & Ginger from the airport and bringing them to their foster homes, and she has been growing with the team ever since. Over the years, she has supported SOS in many ways including transport, fostering, counselling, events, fundraising, spay and neuter initiatives and managing the foster team.
She is now a Board Director, where she is passionate about understanding the needs of our community and helping families build strong, successful relationships with their dogs. Her love for learning is the driving force behind everything she does, along with a deep commitment to supporting both dogs and the people who care for them.
When she’s not volunteering with SOS, Nicole can most likely be found in a hockey rink. She loves spending time with her family and her dog Wonka, baking cakes and casually working Taylor Swift into every conversation.
