Kerry first connected with SOS when friends adopted through the organization, but her own journey started in 2019. While scrolling Instagram one day, she came across a scruff named Crunchy and immediately felt a connection.

Crunchy became her first rescue and joined her and his big brother Gryffin. That experience completely shifted how she sees life with a dog. In 2025, Kerry decided she wanted to help others find that same connection and joined SOS as a Scruff Counsellor.

When she is not volunteering, Kerry spends her time crocheting, doing Pilates, reading, and teaching small humans.

Fun fact: She used to be a professional baker and makes a very good chocolate chip cookie.
