World, meet MUDSLIDE! Affectionately going by Muddie, her foster family describes her as sweet, sassy and cuddly. If you are looking for a proper lady in training, this little gal might just fit the bill!
Being new on the scene, MUDSLIDE is a walking sponge, absorbing new things every day. She has already learned that food is deee-licious and will do anything in exchange for tasty treats. As for crate training, this lady knows her castle when she sees it, and goes in with minimal fuss to nap. And of course, everyone knows that proper ladies don’t pee in the house, and MUDSLIDE is learning to potty with minimal mishaps!
Now, this big new world can sometimes be a little scary – full of movements, new people, and noises, and MUDSLIDE is timid when outside her house. However, with ongoing reassurance (and treats!) from her foster family, she is gaining confidence every day. With slow introductions to new people, pups and environments, MUDSLIDE is slowly overcoming her fears, at her own pace. She adores other scruffs, and would love a doggy sibling who can teach her to be brave and conquer the world! She would also do well in a house with older children, as she is still just a pup (with puppy teeth) learning to navigate the world.
MUDSLIDE is a true lady of the people, climbing into her foster’s lap for a cuddle whenever she gets the chance. So not surprisingly, she has shown signs of separation anxiety when left alone. Her foster family is working to build her confidence here, and her future paw-rents will need to continue this positive reinforcement. A family who is home more often than not would be ideal for MUDSLIDE.
