A total gentleman, TUCKER is as gentle and sweet as they come.
TUCKER prefers to stay near his humans during the day and doesn’t mind the hustle and bustle of a lively household. He is looking for a home where he’s not a lone wolf for extended periods, as he really enjoys being near his pack! TUCKER hasn’t been around other dogs yet, so that is his human pack, of course.
TUCKER aims to please. He can be hesitant around strangers but warms up quickly, soon checking in for his ‘good boy’ praise. An A+ student, TUCKER has been a quick learner in his foster home. TUCKER has adjusted to crate training well and sleeps easily through the night. He will even head there when he wants some quiet time. House training and leash walking have proven no problem for this scruff!
Some of TUCKER’s favourite activities are napping, playing fetch, long walks and unlimited snuggles. He adores children, but has some preferences for how he receives affection, so a family who can provide supervision and guidance would be ideal.
As TUCKER has a rolled tongue, his affectionate nature comes out in smooches rather than licks! He does need continued support with eating and drinking from his humans at each meal, but with a little practice, it becomes easy for everyone involved. Unfortunately for TUCKER, he has some skin sensitivities, so human snacks are off the menu….It’s a good thing he doesn’t mind hanging out in his crate during your mealtimes!
