Available Dogs

GENERAL APPLICATION

Please fill out this application if you don't see a dog you'd like to adopt and have some specific ideas of what you're looking for and are ready to adopt in the near future. Please include any relevant details about what you'd ideally like in a dog in place of the dog’s name (Size, energy level, age, etc). Please also include any prior experience that you have - although new dog owners are welcome.

Please note, submitting this application does not mean you are automatically approved for adoption. You will need to go through the full adoption process including an interview, reference check and submitting photos of your home. Note that the type of dog you are looking for may not be readily available and while we will do our best to find a dog that best suits your criteria it's unfortunately not always possible. A bit of flexibility goes a long way in rescue! Consider opening your hearts and homes to dogs who are past the puppy stage, maybe shed a little bit (hypoallergenic dogs can be tough to come by!) and who maybe need a bit of extra support to perfect certain skills. Please be patient and we will reach out to you if we find a suitable pooch!

BETSY

BETSY

F | 3.5 Y | 45 lbs | Australian Cattle Dog Mix | Playful pal | High energy | Good second dog | Good exposure to dogs and children | Not cat tested | Social butterfly

Meet BETSY!! From the Dominican Republic, BETSY is looking for a confident leader who can be firm in establishing boundaries in her new furever home. Walks are the way to this gal’s heart and she’d spend the rest of her time playing fetch and tug of war if she could! She’s always looking for a pat and treats, which would be great to give for a job well done during continued training. With her higher energy level, she’d likely enjoy hanging out in a yard though with enough activity and mental stimulation this isn’t necessary of her furever home as long as she doesn’t get bored. BETSY has been practicing self-soothing while inside and has mastered this in her own space and is currently working on the “place” command. Sudden, loud noises such as fireworks and large vehicles make her nervous. Calming exercises may help with this as well as her occasional chatting! This gal’s a superstar when it comes to using her crate and being very alert and curious she’s progressing with her eye contact while out on walks using a prong collar. Her attention can be caught by squirrels, not birds, and is easily redirected in such situations. BETSY has met lots of children and sometimes excitable, she’s learning how to respect their boundaries and understand when they’re done interacting, doing well with her human present. She’d likely do well in a home with dog-savvy older children who can respect her space too, especially as she adjusts to a new environment. BETSY loves making new furry friends, especially those similar in size and energy and has done well understanding other dog’s signals and is working on not jumping. Though she’s very social she’s also happy to do her own thing once she’s done hanging out with her friends. Ready to meet brilliant BETSY? Apply to adopt today!

ARIA

ARIA

F | 1.5 Y | 9 lbs | Chihuahua mix | Low energy | Needs proper intros to all | Quick learner | Good second dog | Some exposure to dogs and children | Not cat tested

Say hello to ARIA! From the Dominican, ARIA is total sweetheart and ready to find her one true love. Or in this case, her furever family! She’s looking for a supportive furever family who can help develop healthy boundaries with her. She’s SO looking forward to this and is excited to give you, her new best friend, ALL the doggy kisses! ARIA will benefit from continued training when it comes to walking on her leash by dogs and people with proper introductions. She can be uneasy in these situations and introducing calming exercises may help with her leash reactivity. ARIA does best with kids that are dog-savvy and respect her space. She’s a smart gal who responds to commands well as she aims to please her humans and is always happy to receive a treat for a job well done! We think ARIA would do well as a second dog in her own furever home with a doggy pal she could look up to and learn from as her role model showing her the ropes. ARIA LOVES fetch, playing with her stuffed toys, and catching a few zzz’s here and there. She’s also fully house trained and has conquered walking up and down the stairs. We are SO proud!! With continued crate training in her furever home, she’ll continue to learn that it’s ok to relax and unwind as her humans will always return after a day at work! Ready to cut to the chase and meet this gal in person? Apply to adopt ARIA today!

MAX

MAX

M | 3 M | 25 lbs & growing! | Shepherd Malamute Mix | Playful pal | Medium energy | Needs proper intros to humans | Good second dog | Good exposure to children | Not cat tested

Meet MAX! This dude is looking to find a furever home preferably with husky or shepherd experience as he’s going to be one big dog! From Manitoba, MAX is currently chilling out in Waterdown with his foster fam where he has had daily interactions with kids. He’s also already had the chance to show off his super friendly nature with other dogs, his foster family having one of their own. MAX is an energetic little puppy but is also confident in his independence…as long as he gets a few belly rubs here and there! While he likes to play, with his sister, in particular, he knows when it’s time to kick back and relax on a cozy blanket whilst chewing on his fav toys. While he might become more energetic as he grows he currently doesn’t love walks though he’s doing well with a consistent walking schedule with his buds, even if it’s just up the block. A condo or apartment would likely not be suitable for this dude given his size and the fact that a yard is important to him. He likes to chill out on the grass, use the space to play, and just generally do his own thing! He’s crate trained and being the superstar that he is he’s almost fully house trained! SO CLOSE! We know with you he’ll shine! MAX is currently working on being comfortable with humans and needs proper meetings down at his level. Hoodies are a no go, especially during you’re first meeting with him! Apply to adopt MAX today!

TIFFANY

TIFFANY

F | 3 M | 15 lbs | Shepherd Mix | Playful pal | Medium-high energy | Needs proper intros to humans | Great second dog! | Good exposure to children | Not cat tested

Introducing the one and only TIFFANY!!! In approximately 2 seconds you fell for her big brown eyes and in just 2 minutes more you’re gonna’ want to call her yours! Just like her brother, this gal’s from Manitoba and enjoying life in Waterdown. TIFFANY does well living with a dog and though she’s met some children (and is great with them!) she’s not too trusting of adult strangers, especially when outside. She’s more comfortable during these interactions when she’s indoors and can see her brother letting humans pet him. We think TIFFANY would do well as a second dog in the home with another confident pal as she excels in a pack setting! They’d also be a great napping buddy in addition to supporting her timidness. TIFFANY is very affectionate and once she gets to know you she’s not afraid of accepting all of the belly scratches you have to offer! It’d be a definite bonus if you had a yard as this gal enjoys being outside in the great outdoors with space to play. TIFFANY also likes going on walks though isn’t a fan of walking in the dark. She’s working on leash training and walking with another doggy pal seems to be working wonders. Calming exercises may help with this one’s fear of vacuums and her tendency to chat while using her crate. She’ll continue to work on house training with her furever family. Ready to call her yours? We knew it!!! Apply to adopt TIFFANY today!

KIERA

KIERA

F | 2 Y | 13 lbs | Dachshund Mix | Medium-high energy | Needs proper intros to dogs | Some exposure to dogs and children | Not cat tested

Meet KIERA! She’s a comedian this one, and her foster family loves that she never fails to make them laugh. We think you’d have a jolly time with her too! She can be bossy, so you’ll have to be confident in your leadership abilities as well as develop boundaries, which will help work on her guarding tendencies. You’re in charge and with time, she’ll continue to learn this. She’ll need continued training using her crate and is working on her apprehension toward larger vehicles. KIERA is very affectionate and loves to spend time with her humans. Being a puppy she LOVES to play. High in energy as she is, she’s looking for a relatively active furever family that is happy to take her on adventures out in the ‘hood. If you’re looking for something fun to do with her she’ll never say no to playing fetch or going for a hike with her people. Rest assured, this gal does know how to chill and likes to play independently with her toys and rest quietly in her bed when her people are occupied. She interacts with children of all ages while out on walks and enjoys meeting adult humans. KIERA is a people person. With other dogs, she appreciates when they respect her space, especially when she’s on her leash, and requires proper introductions to them. After she’s had a chance to say hello and give a quick sniff she’s happy to do her own thing. She prefers to hang out with medium-sized dogs. KIERA is a sucker for cyclists – she even wants to chase after those that ride by. If you’re an avid biker she’ll likely need some training involving calming exercises to help with her interest in bikes. Ready for a jolly good time with KIERA? Apply to adopt today!

BRINCA

BRINCA

F | 5 Y | Shepherd Mix | Low-medium energy | Need proper intros to humans | Some exposure to dogs and cats | No exposure to children | Sweetheart <3

You’d better watch out for this one, she’s totally mastered the art of the puppy dog eyes! Meet BRINCA! From Mexico, BRINCA currently hangs out in Guelph with her foster family. Meeting dogs both on and off-leash, this girl’s a champ! Though she’s happy to make new friends she remains calm and doesn’t jump or pull on her leash even around more energetic dogs. Wow! She loves her people though and would prefer to hang out with them. She’s also happy to play with cats but again, is content to let them do their own thing when they don’t feel like engaging with her. SO polite! Out on walks, BRINCA does well with human direction when it comes to catching sight of squirrels. Her relaxed nature tells us she’d do well in most situations whether its spending time with you while working from home or chilling out at your office when you’ve got meetings to attend. While a backyard is preferable as this gal likes to spend her time outside it’s not required. BRINCA loves going on walks and a couple a day are necessary as she’s got a medium energy level. Her furever family can expect to continue working with her on proper introductions to humans, males in particular, and calming exercises to help with her nervousness with sudden, loud noises. BRINCA will continue to do well working on crating in her furever home. She’s totally a smarty-pants and is sure to shine with you by her side. Apply to adopt BRINCA today!

MATILDO

M | 3 Y | 47 lbs | Shepherd Mix | Low energy | Good exposure to dogs | No exposure to children | Not cat tested | Chill dude

As long as he gets his daily walks, he'll do just fine. While he may be shy and independent at first, he'll come out of his shell and show more affection as he gets to know you — he's just an old-fashioned guy who likes to take things slow! MATILDO is super interested in small critters and should be supervised if he meets any cats. Calming exercises may help with his occasional chattiness and nervousness around loud noises. He also needs help falling in love with his crate, which is super important for his well-being. Are you the one for MATILDO? Apply to adopt him today.

RORY

Introducing the one and only RORY! RORY is looking for a patient and loving foster-to-adopt family that can give him the time he needs to adjust and explore new places. RORY likes to develop a mental image. With very limited sight he can see blurry shadows but doesn’t let his progressive retinal atrophy stop him! On the contrary, you’ll find that he has EXCELLENT smelling and hearing abilities. Not to brag or anything! This dude is super smart already practised at the crate, leash, and house training, although will need guidance while settling into your care. He loves affection from his humans or a yummy treat for a job well done. RORY’s got a lower energy level though LOVES outdoor activities including going for walks and checking out new places and smells. As such, he’s hoping you’re a nature lover! He’s always happy to socialize with other pals whether of the human or dog variety and is even eager to go for car rides. While he’s content to hang out with furry pals we’d like to see RORY going to a furever home with no other pets to set him up for success with the easiest possible transition. He totally deserves it! Apply to adopt RORY today!

ZOTZ

ZOTZ

M | 7 Y | Boxer Mix | Low energy | Quick learner | GREAT second dog | Some exposure to dogs | No exposure to children | Not cat tested | Affectionate

Unlike the fizzy, sour candy of the same name, ZOTZ is a sweetie with a heart of gold. This charming lad could totally make it as a social media star, and he’s getting some work done on his pearly whites to get camera ready. From Mexico, he’s ready to meet his furever fam and would thrive having another dog around the home. He likes hanging out with larger, quiet pals with whom he can make best friends. A quick learner, he’s great on a leash and has been kicking butt at crate exercises. He has a lower energy level and generally likes to take it easy, especially because his shoulder is a bit sore, but he’s usually up for a round of fetch and a couple of short walks. You can expect to continue working with this guy on potty training and teaching him to tell you when he needs to go outside. While he enjoys meeting humans, he can jump when he’s excited and should be monitored if meeting younger children. Anyone would be lucky to call this guy theirs. Ready to call ZOTZ yours? Apply to adopt today.

NUTRI

NUTRI

M | 2 Y | Rat Terrier Mix | 18 lbs | Medium - High Energy | Needs proper intros | Good exposure to dogs | Not cat tested | No exposure to children

From Mexico, NUTRI currently spends his time in Alliston and is looking for an active furever family with whom he can live happily ever after. When he doesn't have the zoomies, you can find him dozing like sleeping beauty. NUTRI is working on basic commands and does well with human direction. Ever the charmer, he’s friendly right away with (human) ladies and with a bit of extra time warms up quickly to gentlemen. NUTRI has perfected potty training and is a VERY good boy in his crate. He’ll thrive with someone who gives him consistent rules and earned affection because he loves some nice pats for a job well done. Handsome, charming, and smart? It’s a dream come true AND a match made just for you! Apply to adopt prince NUTRI today.

REX

REX

M | 8 Y | 67 lbs | Rottweiler Mix | Low energy | Prefers chill dogs | Some exposure to dogs | Good exposure to dog savvy children | Not cat tested | Super sweet senior | Has senior medical needs (kidney-related)

Pleasure to meet you, you can call me REX! Not to brag, but I’m the sweetest dude you’ll ever meet. If you find it hard to get up in the morning, I can totally help you out with this! I like to greet each of my humans with a wag of my tail and sometimes a super cute yawn like howl when I wake up in the A.M. I think this works wonders and it definitely makes my humans' day. I might be an older dog and take it slow getting down the stairs but I like to think I’m down with the kids. I’ve got some great experience spending time with dog savvy kiddos of all ages on the daily in my foster family’s home. Also, I’m all about family outings and cheering on my kid siblings when I go to their soccer games. I keep it cool when hanging out with their dog and like to keep moving when I meet others while out on walks. I’m working on housetraining at the moment so whether you live in a house or a condo as long as there’s quick outdoor access I’ll be a happy camper. I can’t help but get excited when my foster mom picks up my leash to go for a walk but all I need is a short outing and lots of time to chill during the day. I’m all about leading a healthy lifestyle and take my meds before I go to bed. I can’t wait to meet you! Apply to adopt me today!

ALONDRA

ALONDRA

F | 1 Y | 47 lbs | Boxer Mix | High energy | Gal pal | Needs proper intros to dogs | Some exposure to children & dogs | No cats, please!

Taking a cue from Cyndi Lauper, ALONDRA shows us that girls just want to have fun! From Mexico, ALONDRA is living with her foster family in Orangeville and is SO excited to meet you! She’s über affectionate, curious, and wicked smart. She LOVES being one of the gals and in on whatever shenanigans her humans are up to. ALONDRA is looking for an active furever home that is eager to go for regular walks and maybe even for a run here and there with her. She’d love to play her little heart out all day if she could! This girl knows when it’s time to chill out though and is content to settle for a nap or chew on her bone while her humans are otherwise occupied. ALONDRA LOVES playing with children and impressing them with how fast she can run. She does best with older children who can respect her space as she does tend to jump up. Meeting adult humans is no biggie for this gal, she happily accepts treats and is always ready for some fun. ALONDRA can show some aggression when meeting new larger dogs and does well with correction from her humans before any reaction. Creating a space where she has proper introductions with other dogs is necessary so that she feels secure. ALONDRA would do best in a home with no cats and she might even enjoy hanging out with a smaller dog if you or one of your neighbours have one! She’s currently working calming exercises and leash etiquette with her fosters and is accustomed to using a prong collar. Lastly, while she’d love to hang out in a yard if you have one it should be fenced in as she’s a bit of an escape artist. Wanna have some lighthearted fun with this one? Apply to adopt ALONDRA today! Girls just wanna have fun (they just wanna, they just wanna).

SANGRIA

SANGRIA

F | 11 M | 36 lbs | Hound Mix | Medium energy | Needs proper intros with humans & dogs | Good second dog | Some exposure to children and dogs | Not cat tested | Goofy

Ready for a refresh? Just one drop of sweet SANGRIA will have you falling for her in no time. From Mexico, she’d likely do well living in most spaces. She currently handles the elevator and stairs in her foster’s condo building like a champ! While this girl is happy to acknowledge you have places to be and things to do, she wouldn’t want to be crated much more than 7 hours on her own. If you’re able to stop by and say hello during a lunch break that would be sweet! She likes to play with toys on her own but if you already have another dog part of your fam that could keep her company, she’d likely do well with a gentle, confident dog. This could help bring out SANGRIA’s more playful side when they’re out and about playing a fun round of fetch and also help show her the ropes. Initially interacting with other dogs she can be nervous but we know that with continued positive and proper introductions she’s sure to shine and make ALL the furry friends! We recommend supervision with cats as though she hasn’t met any with her foster she shows interest in small animals including squirrels and tends to lunge when near them. Her furever family should be advised that SANGRIA may try and chew things beside her toys. Sneak attack alert! She’s still young and learning how to be the best companion to her humans. SANGRIA should continue to use her crate at night as she transitions into a new home and you can expect to continue working with her on house training. Slightly nervous of new peeps, SANGRIA does best with dog-savvy kids who can respect her space. While she likes to be patted by her humans she wants you to know that she doesn’t love having anything put over her head. It’s best to get to her level and give her a scratch under her chin. If you’re ready for a refresh in your daily routine, SANGRIA will hit the spot. Apply to adopt today!

Want to know her foster’s favourite thing about her? Her big brown puppy eyes that melt your heart.

PERLA

PERLA

F | 1 Y | 22 lbs | Shepherd Mix | Playful pal | Medium-high energy | Needs proper intros | No exposure to children | Good exposure to dogs | Not cat tested

From Costa Rica we’d like to introduce you to one spunky little gal, PERLA! Due to her playful nature and high energy, PERLA loves to play with absolutely everyone! This 100% includes play wrestling and a good round of chase here and there. She’s doing well learning the importance of respecting other dogs’ and people’s space and body language as not everyone wants to play ALL the time! Boundaries are #everything and PERLA is starting to get this. She’s a smart gal that’s for sure. PERLA isn’t just into making friends with dogs though as she’ll totally become your bestie in no time. We love that for you! While this girl doesn’t exhibit a major prey drive when it comes to checking out smaller animals, she does tend to show some curiosity and would preferably play with cats if they would let her. We know that not all cats would be down with this though and recommend supervision if she’s to meet more of these furry friends in the near future. PERLA’s furever family can expect to continue working with her on not jumping on human friends. It’s exciting catching up with buds for sure but jumping isn’t totally cool and calming exercises may help. PERLA in all her spunk is also stubborn. Her confidence will be very useful but she needs to know who is the leader so she can start to look for direction rather than decide what’s up on her own. Her over excitement can turn into a piercing quick bark, so again, teaching her how to be calm and showing her that stillness can be work and draining just like jumping around, will be extra helpful! These exercises may also help work on reducing her barking when someone new enters the room(again, hello over excitement!) It’s also important that her furever family knows that she’s still young and continues to work on potty training. She already knows that she needs to go outside but is working on communicating this with her humans. Think you could not only be this gal’s bestie but also her furever family? Apply to adopt PERLA today!

PRINCESS

PRINCESS

F | 1 Y | 30 lbs | Shepherd Mix | Medium energy | Needs to be a second dog | Needs proper intros to humans | Good exposure to dogs | Some exposure to cats | No exposure to children | Sweetie pie | Looking for an FTA!

Once upon a time, there was a pup named PRINCESS who lived in the Dominican Republic. Fast forward to now where she’s hanging out with her foster mom in Canada! We’re all looking for a happily ever after and this pup is looking for one with a foster-to-adopt furever family that will bring her out of her shell by building her confidence. PRINCESS is a nervous gal and currently working on her responses to sudden movements and loud noises she needs a home that’s in a quiet area away from high traffic. She’ll do best with a family who can provide a structured routine for her day to day and continue working with her on leash training. With a medium energy level, she enjoys chilling on her own with some toys and spending time watching what her humans are up to. PRINCESS likes spending time outside and requires a fenced backyard. She has experience meeting a cat whom she totally ignored and would likely do well meeting more with you. PRINCESS enjoys hanging out with other dogs and needs to have another dog in the home who could match her energy and play with her bringing her out of her shell! She hasn’t met any kiddos and meeting those that are dog-savvy and can respect her space would be appreciated as she can be shy with humans. Accepting treats is a total treat for this one and PRINCESS will be happy to do so once you’ve given her some time to meet you. Ready for your happily ever after? Apply to adopt PRINCESS today!

YAYA

YAYA
F | 7 M | Hound Mix | High energy | Needs proper intros | Some exposure to dogs and children | Not cat tested | Sweetheart | Lots of love to give

Nice to meet you, I’m YAYA! I’ve been working on coming out of my shell, and am pleased to say I’m a hippy-happy and energetic little pooch! My foster family says proper introductions are necessary and I agree so when you meet me please greet me slowly. I’m looking for a confident family that can provide structure and boundaries to help me keep a calm state of mind as this will totally help me when transitioning into my new home. Rule enforcement is a must! I like to hang out with quiet dogs given proper introductions though I'd do best in a home with no other dogs. I like to be the boss when playing with my doggie pals but practice and consistency will help me remember my manners as I mature. My foster family and I are working on leash training and tbh I think I’m doing pretty good! I know for a fact that I’m responsive to human direction and being attentive…I’m getting the hang of obedience training! I love to please my humans! Occasionally, birds and squirrels distract me because they’re just so fun to chase after but I know that chasing them won’t make them my friends. I’m also doing my best working on crate training. I like to get out for a few good walks during the day as I’m pretty active and LOVE a good food puzzle. Tug of war is pretty fun too. I’m originally from Mexico but I gotta’ say I’m loving life in Toronto. I know I’m gonna’ love it even more once I’ve zeroed in on my furever family! Is that you? You should totally apply to adopt me today!!!

BELLA

BELLA

F | 6.5 Y | 60lbs | Hound mix | Low energy | Needs proper intros | Good second dog | Good exposure to dogs and children | Not cat tested | Currently training with a prong collar

Ciao, BELLA! BELLA truly is a beauty inside and out and she’s looking to show off her charm to a family she can call her own. Could that be you? She’ll sneak her way right into your heart if you let her. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! BELLA needs a family that will encourage her independence. This could be done with occasional crating throughout the day or allowing her to hang out and relax on her own. She’s super chill inside and loves a good nap! Understandably she’s already won your attention as you’ve read this far, but are you looking to win hers too? Well for starters, you can’t go wrong giving her your time after a day at the office. She likes spending time with her humans going for walks and redirection from you will come in handy as she continues to work on her responses to small critters (she’s currently being trained with a prong collar) as she shows a prey drive. BELLA does beautifully looking to her foster family’s dog for guidance as she continues living in T.O. after coming from Mexico. We think she’d do just as well as a second dog in her new home. If you don’t already have a dog don’t sweat it. She enjoys mingling with children of all ages and has been working on her introductions with smaller dogs as it’s essential to make sure both dogs are comfortable. She’s sure to get the hang of this with you by her side to guide her. You’ve probably already caught on, but this girl’s a total keeper. Apply to adopt BELLA today! Ciao for now.

MOTLEY

MOTLEY

F | 1 Y | Shepherd mix | Medium-high energy | Some exposure to dogs | No exposure to children | Not cat tested | Loves belly rubs

From Manitoba this mighty pup is looking for a confident foster to adopt home! Say hello to MOTLEY!! She’s looking forward to making new friends with her fam and has already done so while outside on walks with her current foster! She can be reactive to some dogs tending to use her voice as her way of showing who’s boss… but really you are and with time she’ll totally figure this out :) MOTLEY is accustomed to using a prong collar and will continue to do well on walks with human redirection where necessary from you! This gal is super interested in squirrels… think Doug from the movie Up. As such, it would be a good idea to supervise her if she’s to meet any feline friends. While MOTLEY hasn’t met any children with her foster just yet we’re thinking she’d likely do well in a home with older dog-savvy kids given her typical friendliness with adult humans. When meeting new people she does best being introduced while outside in her own time and it’s totally likely that once she’s made you her bestie she’ll want her tummy rubbed all day. It’s important that this gal gets both enough exercise as well as mental stimulation throughout the day and going for a few nice walks and playing some indoor games will totally do the trick! Her furever fam can expect to continue working with her on crate training teaching her it’s her safe space where she can sleep, eat, and play. MOTLEY is going to be SO EXCITED when she meets you! It’s important that her new home doesn’t let her get carried away and from the get-go teaches her not to jump on friends… even in such super exciting situations! Apply to adopt mighty MOTLEY today!

TESS

TESS

F | 1 Y | 45 lbs | Shepherd Mix | Medium energy | Needs proper intros | Some exposure to dogs and children | Good exposure to cats | NEEDS SPECIFIC HOME ENVIRONMENT | Foster-to-adopt

Meet TESS! From the Dominican, this gorgeous gal is searching far and wide for the perfect human companion AND special environment! She’s looking for someone with a big heart and the ability to set boundaries, empowering her to become her best self. Being the affectionate gal she is, we know she wants to be open to this form of love and companionship all the time, but in her current state, she’s an extremely nervous dog. As she becomes more comfortable though, TESS likes showing off her more playful side. TESS is more cautious around male humans but will warm up with time and being pet under her chin rather than over her head. Currently working on her confidence, she’s shy around other dogs and can be reactive initially because of this and has only met a few while on leash. She’ll do best continuing to meet laid-back dogs with proper introductions. TESS would do BESST if she had another dog companion in the home that can show her how to dog - As of now, she’s a total social butterfly with her foster fam’s CATS but is looking for a more canine-like role model ;) TESS will definitely win you over and if you’ve got a cat of your own though it’s likely they’ll love her too. One awesome thing for her current foster is that TESS enjoys lazing about in the am right along with you (if you’re not much of a morning person) - And did we mention she’s a total nap-a-holic?! She loves a good Netflix marathon and will be happy to chill out with some toys to play with as long as she’s had enough exercise. Apply to adopt TESS today!

*WE WOULD PREFER TESS BE MOVED INTO A NEW HOME AS A FOSTER ON A TRIAL BASIS so we can decide what’s best for her and her potential new humans.*

This scruff is available for informal meet-ups to see if you're a good fit! Please email katiehelfand@saveourscruff.org to set up a meeting!
