Ready to light up your night sky like a shooting star - meet NYX! 🌙 It’s safe to say charisma runs in the family because he clearly inherited all the sweetness from his mama, NORA.
Curious and observant, NYX has already mastered the art of slow living and is a bit of a homebody. He prefers a short walk before his three meals and lots of time to snooze and play at home. His independence is shining bright already as he learns to stay home alone longer in his crate, and while NYX might be a sweet shadow following you to the next room, he’s perfectly content settling on his own nearby.
On walks, NYX is fascinated by every dog (and sometimes pigeon) he sees, and will wait to stop and stare until they pass by, or if he’s lucky enough to say a quick, scruffy hello. Polite by nature, NYX would rather the new people he meets make the first move to initiate a gentle greeting.
He is still teething, but NYX is quickly learning to redirect to a toy or crunchy ice cube/carrot. Since he’s still a young puppy, he will need patient adopters who have a bit more flexibility in their routine for training, building more of his independence, and of course, reining in the puppy nibbles.
In just a short time in foster care, this smart scruff is collecting accomplishments like stars in his night sky. NYX can climb stairs like a champ, is awesome in both the car & elevator, is fully potty trained (he always lets you know when he has to go!), and even sleeps peacefully in his crate all night.
