Meet MATTHEW! He’s a happy young pup with confidence that’s swiftly increasing with each new day. At four months old, MATTHEW has that playful puppy energy that makes outdoor time and training particularly fun. His day involves a little bit of everything, including short training sessions, longer structured walks with his foster family’s two dogs, crate time for naps and even more time to play and explore outside. What can we say? He’s a busy guy!
This busy young guy responds well to gentle guidance with lots of repetition. We also believe that MATTHEW would do well in a home as a second dog, with another scruff that he could look up to and learn from. Of course, it’s important he be set up for success. Having met his foster family’s two dogs on a neutral outdoor walk, that might be something to consider when introducing him to potential scruff friends. We’re happy to share that MATTHEW quickly settled into step with these dogs and soon began showing off his playful, silly side. Note that this scruff is also likely to succeed as a solo dog as well, if you don’t already have a resident dog!
MATTHEW has shown some curiosity towards kids, though he’s still working on building confidence, and will be more comfortable with older dog-savvy kids for the time being. Don’t get us wrong, though, he can still be super affectionate, snuggly, and full of love for his trusted adult humans. Interested in bringing this happy-go-lucky sweetheart into your home?!
