KANE approaches new experiences the way many of us approach assembling IKEA furniture: cautiously, with a healthy amount of suspicion, and a sincere hope that snacks will be involved. New people, dogs, and cars can make him stop, but once he realizes everything is okay, his confidence grows a little more.
He's incredibly smart. On his very first walk, he memorized the route home and has since become an excellent navigator. KANE is happiest with consistency and routine. He appreciates a slow morning, though he's equally happy to get moving when needed. Two shorter walks each day suit him perfectly, and the rest of the time he's content to relax wherever his people are.
KANE is house-trained, has mastered the stairs, and is quiet as a mouse. He hasn't met young children or cats yet, although he has spent time studying the neighbourhood bunnies (and no application submitted to the chase committee!).
