Ever the independent dude CJ is a confident lad whose day is made when he gets to spend it playing and chewing on his bone. He’s quite adventurous and loves to go on walks. From the Dominican CJ currently spends his days in Orangeville with his foster fam where he’s met some human youngsters and cats. Still a puppy he’ll continue to do well with supervision during these meetings as he can be excitable and may try to jump. He’s totally a people person though and would likely do well with little ones! Doing best with proper introductions CJ will definitely become more playful showing off his happy-go-lucky side with furry friends as he continues to be exposed to such interactions. He is totally enamoured with his foster fam’s dog and would thrive in a home with another respectful and playful dog. CJ would do best in an environment that has space for him to move and groove though as long as he gets to go out lots he’d do well in most homes. Stairs can be a tad scary for this dude so he’ll appreciate his furever home making going up and down them a positive experience showing him there’s nothing to be uneasy about. Also, he’s had experience being on his own for up to 6 hours and appreciates a break in between if possible. If you’re into outdoor activities CJ would love to accompany you on a bike ride, he’s a super trouper for sure. He likes to show off his goody-two-shoes side being an absolute star while using his crate. All he needs is a toy and he’s as happy as a clam! His furever fam can expect to continue working with this dude on basic commands and leash skills as things are just so new and exciting! Ready to meet this hippy-happy dude? Apply to adopt CJ today!
