We’re not sure we ever could have dreamed up a magical creature like a collie/corgi cross but guess what, unicorns exist so meet QUEENIE! She has a very unique look so get ready for lots of attention when you’re walking her down the street. She. Is. Cute. QUEENIE is totally a go with the flow type of gal and she would adapt easily to most living situations. The only situation that has proven to be difficult for her is living in a super busy/noisy condo building. She is used to living in a home environment and tends to whine a bit when her foster leaves the home. Previously in a condo environment she was much more vocal. She is crated when alone as well as at night and definitely sees the crate as her safe space, occasionally chilling in there even when her people are around. QUEENIE is very people friendly and would be a great family dog as she’s been really cool about meeting kids in the neighbourhood so far. She is very trusting of people and almost immediately rolls over asking for belly rubs. She is very affectionate and polite – she loves attention but is ok if she can’t have it all the time. She is almost fully housetrained and is pretty good on leash but doesn’t really know any basic commands just yet. (Working on it though!) Loud noises can make her a little jumpy and she’s a little apprehensive of the stairs in her foster home, but otherwise approaches situations without fear or hesitation. She is very content living with another medium energy pup in the home and they enjoy having play sessions and wrestling matches. She would be the perfect addition for a fam looking to add a second scruff to the home. She is super dog friendly but hasn’t been tested with cats yet.
