Meet KELSEY. This girl is so excited about life! Initially shy during first meetings, with the proper introduction KELSEY will turn into your best friend. She needs to understand who you are at first though and make sure she interviews you for the role of her new BFF. "But will you continue to throw the ball even if you're tired?!". KELSEY does need help learning to trust and although proper intros are great, she finds some people rub her the wrong way and will keep her distance. She will need help building confidence around particular people! KELSEY loves hanging out with her dog pals which is why her fav activity is wrestling with her foster brothers cause she always wins (#girlpower). KELSEY would love to be at home with a second dog although she does tend to follow the pack so if they bark for example, she will follow suit. KELSEY would be great with a well trained dog that can lead her to greatness! She is also amazing on her own and is more likely to pay attention and learn cause she just wants to please! She'd love a backyard to play in and/or a BIG adventurer family. KELSEY loves her fav games like racing through the forest like a jack rabbit or playing fetch with you or by herself. So room to play is key! She does although climb chainlink fences so she will need to be watched and corrected in those scenarios. KELSEY likes a fam with a flexible and busy schedule that involves her. She chews when she's left alone and is better if you remove the "tempting" items from sight.. although she may go to the couch.. She currently is not crate trained and looks to be giving some total sass to the idea of it. She currently lives with smaller house pets (rabbits, hamsters, cats), she is good with them until they give her an opportunity to chase them before THAT IS SO FUN. She listens when you tell her to back off by saying a firm "NO". KELSEY just wants to be around a family with a flexible schedule who dedicate lots of time to her, as she will to you! KELSEY would be an amazing cottage dog and great for more rural areas in general. She's be a GREAT running dog!! It should be noted that she is being fostered in Rockwood.
