F | Shepherd/Lab mix | Puppy | El Salvador | High energy | Small but mighty | Curious | Needs training | Needs to keep busy | Selective with other dogs | Good with kids | Not cat tested
They say good things come in small packages! Although half the size of her brother Bigelow, GISELLE is definitely the brave one and is ready to take on pretty much anything. She spent the first part of her life on the beaches in El Salvador with virtually no human interaction so everything is new for her but she is adjusting like a little champ. She had no idea why we were cooping her up in a house when she first got here but now realizes it’s a cozy space with lots of love and food so she’s SUPER into it. GISELLE is high energy and her ideal home has lots of people and activity to keep her busy at all times. She would make an amazing family pet and she loves kids. She’s not demanding of attention but loves kisses and cuddles when you offer them. She can be a little selective of other dogs and will bark at them as a defense mechanism. She’s used to barking to alert the rest of her pack who would then come running for protection. She spends time at play group and usually warms up to her new pals after a few minutes, her butt starts to wiggle and she jumps in on the action. She’s used to spending time with her brother so would do well as a second dog if it was the right fit. She needs help with all basic training including house training and learning not to chew your stuff. She’s generally cooperative and wants to please so would be a star at puppy school. GISELLE has so much spirit packed into that little body. She was born with half a tail and when she wags her little tail/shakes her little booty it’s basically the cutest thing ever. Also, she came over with her brother and we are hoping her adopter would be prepared for many doggy playdates!! Fill out an application to adopt GISELLE.
