Meet NILLY! She was recently rescued from Georgia and WANTS TO BE YOUR BEST FRIEND. She is low-medium energy both in and outside of the home. She is happy being your companion during the Bachelor is strutting her stuff on the streets. She is doing well on a leash and other than loving to sniff – is a pretty cool chick when it comes to the sites, sounds and hipsters of Toronto. She is kind of a sass monster in the home (barking, sneakiness) but has come along way. Her name should be DW cause she has little sister syndrome and wants ALL the attention. If ignored she gives you cut-eye but will stop. She needs to be in a crate when you’re out as she is very destructive. She has to wear a muzzle in her crate as well as she will tear it a part. YUM WIRE. This is due to separation anxiety that has actually improved significantly. She now only whimpers when alone and is content with her muzzle and crate. SHE JUST WANTS TO STAY WITH YOU 4EVA, you knooo? She would love a home with a flexible schedule so that she can continue to work on this. She definitely opens up with routine and trust so her adopter will need to be able to help her through the adjustment period. She is potty trained, learning basics and as said, good on a leash. She gets about 2 hours exercise right now and it seems to be the right about cause she is CHILL AF. She is fit for apartment, house, whatever. As long as she can explore with you as well as get some steady naps in, she’s cool. Her facebook personality quiz would say couch potato. Did we say she likes the couch? She likes big dogs but it kind of unsure of smaller ones so she does need proper introductions. She hasn’t been tested with kids but would likely rock as a nanny. She thinks cats are losers and probably shouldn't be homed with them. Also, random fact: she’s also the softest dog like ever. Everyone on the street just has to touch her. If you are able to work with her separation anxiety, NILLY is the perfect dog for you you and you. We know the right home is out there waiting for her. Fill out an application.
